About OpA
The Oklahoma Pedorthic Association (OPA) is a professional organization focused on the quality and future of proper foot care. Its members are committed to developing relationships with health care providers for the purpose of promoting the prescription and effectiveness of therapeutic footwear and orthopedic foot appliances. We strive to provide high quality educational opportunities to further enhance the care that our members can provide to their patients. The association develops strategies and programs that give our elected representatives guidance in protecting our society from anyone or anything that jeopardize anyone’s foot health. The OPA is tasked with the responsibility of providing continuing professional development courses to help members provide ongoing skills mastery and up-to-date advanced foot care.
(It is a violation of Oklahoma law for anyone to fill a Pedorthic prescription who is not currently licensed and in good standing with the State Board of Medical Licensure. This includes prescriptions for diabetic shoes, custom arch supports or foot orthotics.)

We strive to provide quality education classes and instruction to Pedorthists nationwide, in order to keep Pedorthists certified and ready-to-use within their own communities.
